What options for finance do you have? We offer HP (Hire Purchase) or PCP (Personal Contract Purchase) at Dearden Motorcycles, either Black Horse, Close Brothers, Santander or Moto Novo. The initial quotation can be carried out at anytime and if you are considering the purchase of a bike we are able to process a full application.

Can I take a bike on a demo ride? We have a demo bike in most classes and are more than happy for customers who have the appropriate motorcycle licence to ‘try before you buy’. On the day of the ride we will need your National Insurance Number and to see your Driving Licence. 

Have you got any details on motorbike or scooter insurance? Yes we can put you in touch with Lexham Insurance who are specialist and trusted in scooter and  motorcycling insurance. Even better – there are discounts available for Dearden customers. 

After Sales

Do all your used bikes include a warranty? Yes. We provide a 6 month dealer warranty with every used bike.

What warranty do I receive with my new bike? Piaggio include a 2 year warranty which can be extended at any time with Piaggio’s extended warranty. 

Can you deliver my new bike to me? Depending on your location we will deliver your new machine to you anywhere in SO postcodes as part of your purchase. This does exclude the Isle Of Wight which we can arrange delivery to ferry terminal. Anywhere further in distance can be arranged and will be subject to a delivery charge. Please speak to our Sales team for exact cost. 


Do you use genuine parts or after market? We will always strive to use genuine parts on your machine, however we can give you the costs for both options and it will be your decision what you would prefer to use. 

Can you source and fit my new tyres? Yes for most makes and models. The balancing can be carried out at the same time. 

If I breakdown will you be able to recover my bike? In most cases if your breakdown is local to Dearden Motorcycles and during working hours we will always do our best to recover your bike (and you!) if our delivery van is available. Charges for this do apply. 


Can I exchange clothing if it is the wrong size? Certainly, however if you visit the store to purchase, we have changing rooms and a dedicated clothing expert to assist with fitting. For Health and Safety reasons, Helmets are non-returnable. 

Do you stock Ladies clothing? Definitely! We have ladies jackets and trousers including jeans, jeggings, leggings and footwear. 

Are the gloves waterproof? We have a huge variety of gloves. The manufacturers will stipulate whether they are waterproof or not. We can give you advice on certain brands.
